Have you ever imagined earning a steady side income from a single website, just by sharing your opinion in your spare time?
That's exactly what I've done with ySense. Since joining back in 2013, this one site has earned me $21,436 — and on this page I'll show you exactly how it works, how to start, and the strategy that made most of that money.
Please note: ySense is not an investment program and will never ask you to invest a penny — it's completely free to join. It was formerly known as ClixSense (renamed on Aug 1, 2019).

What is ySense?
ySense is a get-paid-to (GPT) site that rewards its members for completing online surveys, trying offers, watching videos, and more. It launched in 2007 as a PTC (paid-to-click) site under the name ClixSense, then gradually evolved into a full GPT platform before rebranding to ySense in 2019.
Today it's one of the most established and trusted survey-and-offers sites on the internet, with members in almost every country.
How much money can you earn?
There's no fixed figure — your earnings depend entirely on how much time you put in and which methods you use. As a realistic guide, most active members can earn $3–$15 a day by spending 1–3 hours, with no investment required.
Personally, I earn around $20–$25 a day and $650+ a month, mostly thanks to referrals built up over the years. Some dedicated members make $50 or more in a single day.
💡 Reality check: GPT sites like ySense are great for pocket money and small side income — not a full-time salary. If you want to replace a real income working from home, a dedicated remote role pays far more. See how remote virtual-assistant work works and the typical pay rates.
How to make money from ySense
There are three main ways to earn on ySense. You can join it free here and use any or all of them.
Paid Surveys
Share your opinion on products and services — the highest-earning method.
Cash Offers
Get paid to watch videos, play games, install apps, and join sites.
Referrals
Earn ongoing commission from everyone you invite to ySense.

Each method is explained clearly below. The single best earner is surveys, so don't skip that section.
1. Earn by taking ySense surveys
The simplest way to earn is by taking paid surveys — questionnaires where companies pay for your honest feedback on their products and services. You can take as many as you qualify for each day, and your opinion genuinely helps brands improve.
How to start earning from surveys
- Log in and click the Surveys tab at the top-left of your screen.
- Complete your survey profile first (via the "Survey Profile" button) so you're matched to more surveys. Always fill in true details.
- Pick a survey — check its payout and length, then click Start.
- Answer the qualifying questions. If you qualify, you'll continue into the full survey.
- Get credited once complete. Most credit quickly; some (marked with a red flag) can take up to 30 days.

⚠️ Never use fake "survey trick" tools or bots — they'll get your account banned. Honest answers are the only safe way to earn.
2. Earn by completing offers
Offers are quick tasks — installing an app, signing up for a site, playing a game, or watching videos. For each one you complete, you earn yCents (100 yCents = $1).
How to start earning from offers
- Hover over the "Offers" tab and choose an offer wall to browse what's available.
- Pick an offer and read its instructions carefully — each one has specific steps to qualify.
- Complete it as described. Your yCents are usually credited within minutes to a few hours.

3. Earn through the ySense referral program
Referrals are how I earn most of my income. When someone you invite earns money on ySense, you receive a commission on their earnings — at no cost to them.
For example, if a referral earns $50 from surveys and offers, you get a 20% commission ($10). You also earn small sign-up bonuses from referrals in Tier-1 countries (USA, UK, Australia, Canada, etc.).

Why the referral program is worth it
- There's no limit on how much you can earn, or how many people you can refer.
- With 200+ active referrals, your commission rate rises to 30% of what they earn.
- Referral income is largely passive once your network is active.
How to refer more people
- Tell friends, family, retired relatives, and stay-at-home parents who have spare time.
- Share your referral link with payment proofs on Facebook, X (Twitter), and other socials.
- Best of all, create a blog — a review or tutorial that ranks on Google brings in referrals on autopilot.
You'll find your referral link and ready-made banners under Account Summary → Account Details and the Affiliates menu.
ySense Review 2026: Is it a scam or legit?
Here's my honest take after more than a decade on the platform (first as ClixSense, now as ySense). The short answer: it's one of the few GPT sites I fully trust.
✅ Why it's legit
Paying reliably since 2007 with no missed payments, run by an established US company, and has paid out well over $40 million to members.
🚫 Is it a scam?
No. Payment proofs are posted openly on its forum, payouts are consistent, and there's no investment or catch. It's a genuine site.
The trade-off to be honest about: earnings per survey are modest, and availability varies by country (Tier-1 countries see the most surveys). Treat ySense as reliable extra income, not a salary.

To get the most out of the site, log in daily and put in at least an hour. Beyond surveys, offers, and referrals, there's a Daily Checklist Bonus that pays up to an extra 16% on your day's earnings.

For example, earn $5 from surveys and offers and meet the requirements, and you'll claim roughly $0.80 extra. To qualify each day you typically need to:
- Complete a set number of surveys or offers (excluding video offers), and
- Visit the ySense forum and stay active for the required time.
ySense tips & tricks
Follow this simple daily routine to maximise your earnings:
- Check surveys first and complete 1–2 while they're available (they're the best payers).
- Scan the offers for quick, easy ones and knock out 1–2.
- Stay active and visit the forum to work toward the daily bonus.
- Claim your Daily Checklist Bonus for up to 16% extra on the day's earnings.
Do this consistently and your daily total climbs steadily. You can grow it further by referring people who are looking for genuine online jobs.
My strategy (and honest advice)
I joined in November 2013 but barely earned for the first three years — I was new to the internet and rarely active. Once I got consistent, most of my income came from referral commissions driven by my blog.
That's the real lever: a single helpful blog post can bring in referrals for years. If you're a beginner, don't jump straight into blogging (it's harder than it looks) — earn with ySense first, then build a blog once you understand the space.
💡 Want more than pocket money? Surveys are perfect for small, flexible earnings. But if you're serious about working from home for a real income, look at dedicated remote roles instead — start with the best platforms for remote & VA work.
What you need to get started
- A PC or laptop with internet (a smartphone works too, but the smaller screen is fiddly).
- A Gmail account.
- A PayPal, Payoneer, or Skrill account to receive payments.
- A bank account (not needed right away — you can add it later to withdraw from your payment processor).
Online earnings are paid to a payment processor first, then transferred to your bank — so create and link one of the accounts above to cash out.
Conclusion
ySense is one of the best beginner-friendly ways to earn a little money online with zero experience and zero investment. It's been paying reliably since 2007, has paid members over $40 million, and surveys remain the top method.
Just remember the honest truth: it's great for spare-time income, not a full salary. Whatever you choose, nothing happens until you take action — so join, stay consistent, and grow your referrals.

I don’t get enough surveys for getting cash so I used VPN to show myself from USA. I am from turkey so ySense isn’t active as much as in USA. When I do that, I see more surveys but now the problem is I am getting blocked from completing surveys. Is there any way to get this thing done?
I’m really impressed that you made this much money on ysense. That’s great. I should probably start using some of your strategies.
Thanks bro 4 the info. God bless you more…..How do I transfer money from my PayPal to my G.T.Bank account?

Hello. Am Nigerian, I read this write-up, and joined Ysense thereafter. It’s been over four weeks now, and, whenever I login, there’s hardly any surveys to do. Same with tasks, I haven’t been shown any even after opening an Appen account. What do you think is wrong? My location?
How about I use VPN in such a way that each and every second my device will show that I am from that particular country of the vpn.
Even after doing this will I still be blocked?
Well, it’s a nice business platform as I read about it, but I don’t know how to partner with the business and also benefit from it. Please, is there any help?
