Duo Copilot is Amplemarket's AI sales assistant. It watches for buying signals every day and picks out the people worth contacting. Then it drafts a multichannel sequence, which a rep reviews unless that signal is on autopilot.
It suits outbound B2B sales teams that already prospect in Amplemarket and want to spend less time on research. Amplemarket lists Duo Copilot on its Startup, Growth and Elite plans.
Two things to know first. Reps review each lead unless you put its signal on autopilot. Leads dismissed as a bad company or the wrong person stay hidden for at least six months, and only support can reverse that.

What Duo Copilot does
Amplemarket launched Duo in September 2024 as an AI copilot for sales reps. Today Duo Copilot is one part of what Amplemarket calls Duo Intelligence, next to Duo Accounts, Duo Copywriter, Duo Inbox and Duo Voice.
Its job is the part of prospecting that eats a rep's morning. That means spotting who to contact, working out why now, and writing a first draft. Amplemarket says several AI agents share that work across signals, research and outreach.
The result is a feed of people, not just companies. Amplemarket says Duo finds intent at the contact level. A rep sees which person to reach and why, instead of a list of accounts to research.
How Duo Copilot works, step by step
- Choose signals. On the Signals page, you pick signals from a library, then set filters and decide how leads are shared across the team.
- Duo scans daily. Amplemarket says its agents check your market for those signals every 24 hours.
- Leads land in the feed. Each person arrives with contact details, account details and the signal that triggered the lead.
- A sequence is drafted. Each lead comes with a multichannel sequence. The rep can edit it, send it, or regenerate it with written feedback, an option added in June 2026.
- The rep decides. A lead can be sequenced, pushed to the CRM, added to a list or dismissed. Leads nobody acts on go stale after 14 days.
- Duo learns. Dismiss reasons and repeated edits shape what it suggests next.

Visit AmplemarketWhich signals Duo Copilot watches
Amplemarket says it tracks more than 20 signals. Examples on the Duo page include:
- People moves: past champions who change jobs, a common reason to reopen a conversation.
- Your own history: closed-lost deals worth another look.
- Research activity: reviews of competing tools on G2, posts in Slack communities and engagement on social media.
- Visits: people who view your website or your reps' profiles.
- Company events: hiring, funding and news.
You can add your own signals too. A Salesforce report or a HubSpot list can feed Duo. So can a webhook from Zapier, Clay, Make or RB2B (our Make.com review covers Make). Amplemarket's help center says API signals are checked about hourly, with a daily lead limit for each user.
How much control reps keep
Amplemarket's position is that reps stay in control. Its Duo page says Duo "never sends or changes things without visibility."
The exception is autopilot. Amplemarket University says autopilot "schedules outreach for Duo-recommended leads without waiting for manual review." You put specific signals on autopilot, so leads from other signals still wait for a rep.
Admins shape the drafts under Settings, in the Duo Control Center. They can set value propositions, tone of voice, sequence instructions, prompts for each agent and competitor battlecards. Only admins can edit agent prompts and battlecards.
Leads can be pushed to Salesforce or HubSpot. Since July 2026, Duo leads can also be listed and acted on from an AI assistant through Amplemarket MCP.
Setup and plans
Amplemarket's pricing page lists Duo Copilot on the Startup, Growth and Elite plans. Confirm which plan your team is on with your Amplemarket account team.
Most of the setup is deciding what good looks like. Pick the signals that match how your team sells, write clear value propositions, and decide who receives which leads.
If your reps call US numbers, ask an admin to turn on Amplemarket's Do Not Call screening. It flags listed numbers in the Duo Copilot prospect view.
Limits and who should skip it
Where it helps
- Turns daily signals into named people with context
- Drafts multichannel sequences that reps can edit or regenerate
- Learns from dismissals and edits
- Accepts custom signals from your CRM or a webhook
What to watch
- Leads wait for a rep's review unless their signal is on autopilot
- Leads dismissed as a bad company or the wrong person stay hidden for at least six months, and only support can undo it
- A rep's own dismissals only change that rep's feed
- Leads go stale after 14 days without action
Skip Duo Copilot if most of your pipeline comes from inbound leads, or if your team doesn't prospect in Amplemarket. Its value comes from outbound signals and sequences that live there.
If you mainly need calling inside a CRM, our Close CRM review covers that setup. For AI that places the calls itself, see our review of Chloe by Close.
Our take: a good fit for outbound teams already in Amplemarket
Duo Copilot makes the most sense for outbound B2B teams that already run prospecting and sequences in Amplemarket. It swaps the daily hunt for reasons to reach out for a feed of named people, each with a drafted sequence.
It is not hands-off by default. Reps review leads unless a signal is on autopilot, admins need to tune the messaging, and some dismissals are hard to reverse. It fits teams willing to do that setup work.
